A year ago, Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, despite most analysts predicting Hillary Clinton would be the first women President of the United States, but, including myself, we were all wrong.
It all happened a year ago and it’s important to start thinking an analyzing what happened, but particularly important let’s think and look at what happened and how this has impacted the bilateral relationship between Mexico and the United States. That’s why today’s guest, one of the panelists at the Mexico Women’s Forum, Melanne Verveer, who is a voice coming from the United States talking about what is happening in the United States and the bilateral relation a year from Trump’s election.
Melanne Verveer is Director of the Georgetown University Institute for Women Peace and Security, but, she did work in both Clinton Administration. She has been a very important voice in speaking about women’s issues around the world.
